Scale Model of Hulme Hippodrome going on display at Central Library

The scale model of #HulmeHippodrome made by students at #MMU’s #SchoolofArchitecture will soon be on public display at #CentralLibrary, St Peters Square, thanks to #ManchesterCityCouncil and the library.

Below Mike Bath #SHH & Cllr Siobhan O’Connor #MCC discussing design options.

The model is excellent publicity – it opens up building’s ordinary exterior to show inside the ‘hidden gem’ that is the glorious auditorium of #HulmeHippodrome. We will publicise the dates of our exhibition as soon as we know them.

  1. I am reaching out because i am really interested in the work you are doing to save the Grade || listed Hulme Hippodrome. The building history has fascinated me, and i really admire the efforts you’re making to preserve it.

I’m a second-year journalism student at Manchester Metropolitan University, currently working on a photo story project. I have a ton of questions about your mission, your plans for the site, and the work you’re doing at the moment. If possible, i would love the opportunity to visit, take some photographs for my project, and learn more about your efforts. perhaps even follow someone around and follow someone individual story of what they are doing for the project, a more personal take on it.

Please let me know if this would be possible – I’d really appreciate the chance to connect and highlight the important work you’re doing. Looking forward to hearing from you!

    Best regards,
